What is binaural beats healing?
The whole idea of hour sounds could be healing you is an interesting subject to me, hence why we have started this nature calms you blog. The more I research and learn, the more I embrace sound. Upon my journey are started to learn about something interesting that help me discover what is binaural beats healing?
From my research on the web, I am learning that binaural beat therapy & healing is an emerging form of sound wave therapy. Some people recommend this for the treatment of disorders such as anxiety or stress.
Some people even claim that the beats help them get over pain, or even takes away their pain per comments found on popular binaural beats videos online. Obviously I cannot confirm that and again I’m not qualified to do so.
I am not a doctor or someone that is completely qualified to suggest this as a form of treatment. This is just informational based. I suggest you locate a true and qualified expert to determine your own experience or thoughts about Binaural beats healing.
I am just merely forwarding the information I have personally found by researching online about the subject. I do find this fascinating since I do believe that sound can heal, or at least think it can just because of my own personal experiences with sound and how a feel.
What are the main characteristics of Binaural beats?
According to NCBI Article on Auditory beat stimulation, the following are the characteristics of Binaural beats.
- Presents neighboring frequencies to each ear separately
- Subjective percept
- central
- processed in the medial superior olivary nuclei
- requires the combined action of both ears.
- present when beat frequencies are low and with carrier tones below 1000 Hz
Experience a binaural beat video and make your own conclusion.
The whole just of this process is very interesting but pretty advanced for even me, but very interesting. I have found a few videos to listen to. It was interesting to hear, as I plan on experiencing this a little more in the future.
Listen to some or all of the video below and chart down your own experience. I will say using headphones does enhance the experience in my opinion.
The comments to this video were interesting. Some of them claimed that it helped with all over body pain. One commenter stated that this was a morning routine of listening to the binaural beats.
A person claimed that it truly works and that they were having some pain in the shoulder and after 10 minutes that pain was gone. I cannot confirm that is true or not, but it’s interesting seeing all the comments of how they felt it helped them with their own pain.
It’s amazing at how many of the comments were confirmation or at least lead them to believe that it worked for them.
